What is On Hold Payment?
Helpers.ie allow you to post your jobs depending on your priority and the budget available to you, there are two different types of projects in terms of a budget.
1. Fixed Budget Projects
2. Hourly Budget Projects
On Fixed Budget Projects, once you decide to hire the worker(s), you are expected to fund the job as part of the hiring process and before the work commences.
Helpers.ie then places the funds on hold for security reasons up until the job is done. You can see once the funds are placed on hold in the left pane menu under On Hold Payment.
On Hourly Budget Projects, after you successfully hire the worker(s) you are expected to fund the job only for the hours you hired help. Helpers.ie then places the funds on hold for security reasons up until the job is done.
On either project whether its Fixed Budget Project or Hourly Budget Project the worker(s) you hire can also see when the job has been funded by checking their balance under Work in Progress on their account.
Your funds are secure with Helpers.ie and you release the funds on hold once you receive an invoice after the work has been carried out to your satisfaction by the worker(s) you hired for your job.
